Task Description: This week I have finished my 5 senses, it was about what I feel or taste or see and smell, I’ll say one thing. When I went to this BBQ In front of the beach. I smelled the yummy delicious steak on the grill sizzling. When I say the chiefs cooking it. It look very nice, when I took a bite of the yummy steak, it was so yummy with the red tomato sauce.

Making Connections – MY Camp vs Kid Camp
Task Description: This week I have done my connections for my camp and connect it with The 2015 – 2017 camp. It was hard reading the texts because it was so long that it took me a while but when I was finish I started to fill it out when I was done My teacher wanted everyone to come on the mat and tell what we have on our connection task. When I told him what I had on my task he told me other things that I missed.

Talofa Lava my name is Filipo and I am a year 6 at Pt England School. My teacher this year is Miss Parrant. My favourite colour is blue and my favourite team in the NRL is the Penrith Panthers. My favourite things to do at home is talking to m friends and having fun by playing games with them. My best-friend this year is Khittamai, He was my friend since my in 2017 all the way up in 2024. This year I want to focus on sports this year and school work of course. My favourite game to play on the ps4 is Fortnite and FIFA 22. Recount: Marshmallow Challenge
Task description: This week we have been learning how to create a recount with lots of descriptive language. We had a really fun challenge to complete as a class first and that was the Marshmallow challenge. After that we had to write a recount about our experience. Check out my recount below. Today room 10 completed a marshmallow challenge. In my group there was Frank, Khittamai, Winter, Alex M, Mercy and myself. We were given 20 pieces of spaghetti and 10 marshmallows. We had to build the tallest tower in the class and we only had 15 minutes.
First we had five minutes to plan out how we wanted our tower to look. We talked about how to make it the tallest tower using the materials that we had. We could not agree about what would be the best way to create the tower.
The 15 minutes started and we decided to make it long. The pasta was holding us back, it kept on falling so we tried a different way. So we put a lot, like maybe four marshmallows, to balance it. When we did that it stood up for a few minutes and then it fell. So we decided to use the wall to make it stand up.
Only one minute left and it fell again. My whole group felt so bad. Only 35 seconds left and we built it so differently like it was a one year old mess. It was fun and I really enjoyed it.
